Pathway to worship.

Worship involves and starts with valuing God above all else. Recognizing His great value and specifically, His great value to you. However, most people do not receive a lot of value from God, because they do not take the necessary steps to get that value. As a result, they do not truly worship.

Here is one example of how that works.

John 9:6-7, 38 KJV

[6] When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,

[7] And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

[38] And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

Consider.

The blind man

had a terrible condition, his blindness. Jesus came along and made his situation worse. He added filth to his eyes that certainly irritated them.

was required to obey a difficult command. He had to go somewhere else—the pool of Siloam— without being able to see. (Who knows how far he had to go?)

was told to obey, not only a difficult command, but a nonsense command.

was given no promise of healing by Jesus.

had no apparent help from God. He seemed to be on his own. He had to go to the pool of Siloam himself. Jesus would not do that for him.

Yet the blind man obeyed. He trusted Jesus enough to obey. Then, after receiving value from God, his healing, the man worshiped.

People see little or no evidence of God in their own daily experiences. God may not manifest Himself, because they are not living in obedience to Him. As a result, they do not worship Him.

God may make your situation worse. Obey anyway.

Obedience may be difficult. Obey anyway.

God‘s commands may be nonsensical. Obey anyway.

Some of God‘s commands come with promises. Others do not. Try to obey all of His commands, all the time, regardless.

As you live in obedience to God, it may seem you are all alone. You are not. God is with you.

Matthew 28:20 KJV

[20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
