Praise and expressing emotion.

author

Updated: Oct 10, 2023

Someone said, "I do not praise God, because I am not an emotional person."

Praise is expressing approval. Emotions may accompany approval, but not necessarily. They are two different things.

Psalm 42:4 KJV

[4] When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

For example, a completed Hail Mary pass in football normally causes both praise and emotional outbursts. But a wonderful dentist is often praised, but seldom do you see people get emotional about a dentist, even if they are the best in the world.
