“Bring them into the church any way you can, so they hear the Word of God and hopefully get saved.” This is the method widely used these days to supposedly get people saved. It seems to be based on
1 Corinthians 9:19-22 KJV
[19] For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
[20] And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
[21] To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
[22] To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
This is the justification for all sorts of marketing, gimmicks and schemes to get people to attend church assemblies. For example, "Trunk or Treat," big events, assigned greeters, welcome gifts, mailings that emphasize the friendliness and family-like atmosphere of the church.
However, the context here is people's scruples or beliefs about good and evil. Paul conformed his behavior to people's scruples, to avoid putting stumblingblocks to people getting saved. This is not about conforming local churches to what unsaved people like.
1 Corinthians 8:8-9 KJV
[8] But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.
[9] But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.
