How to handle being right.

author

Christians are those who are disciples of Christ (Acts 11:26). They are constantly learning the Bible and living what they learn. As a result, they will have sound minds (2 Timothy 1:7), and will be right more often than most people. Others typically hate the truth, and live according to lies and fantasies. They are always spewing out nonsense.

But what do you do about being right most of the time? How do you handle that wisely?

Often, the wisest alternative is to say and do nothing.

Ecclesiastes 3:7B KJV

[7] a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

Amos 5:10,13 KJV

[10] They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

[13] Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

Regardless, your response must be gentle.

Matthew 10:16 KJV

[16] Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
