God delights in allowing a mess, then fixing it and turning it into something wonderful.

Psalm 50:15 KJV

[15] And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

God allows trouble at times, instead of preventing it. If He always prevented trouble, God’s people would mostly not notice that He had done anything. But this way it becomes obvious that God delivered them.

Then they glorify Him. One way they glorify Him is by not panicking in times of trouble, but calling upon God, confident that He is in control of all their circumstances, and using them for their benefit.
