Fear of God when He does a kindness.

Mark 4:39-41 KJV

[39] And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

[40] And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

[41] And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

The woman with the issue of blood responded with fear when Jesus healed her.

Mark 5:33 KJV

[33] But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

Why would someone fear the person who has just done a kindness to them? This is somewhat baffling. It is the fear of being a sinner in the presence of holy God.

For example, your car is on the shoulder with a flat tire, and the police come to help you. You are glad to get the help, but you know there is a warrant out for your arrest. At any moment, the police might check on you and arrest you. So you fear the police even while they are changing your tire.
