Balance.

author

Balance is essential to living holy lives. Often, people sin by living in ways that are out of balance. Too much or too little.

Philippians 4:5 KJV

[5] Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Colossians 3:5 KJV

[5] Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; …inordinate affection, …and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Proverbs 30:7-9 KJV

[7] Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:

[8] …give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:

[9] Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

Legitimate activities become sinful when they are done too little or too much. Wisdom involves knowing what is too little and what is too much.
